There has been A LOT of social media postings regarding the upcoming 2024 Sixes Season. I hope everyone is as excited as we are to become involved in this dynamic new format of field lacrosse, designed to enhance the sport’s development and competitive scope across the province.
Introduced by World Lacrosse in 2018, Sixes is a fast-paced, compact version of lacrosse that merges the most thrilling aspects of the game. For more information on the format, please visit ontariosixes.com
Here is what the 2024 Sixes Season will look like for the Redcoats:
- Season Start Date – September 14th
- Age Groups – U9 (2017/2016), U11 (2015/2014), U13 (2012/2013)

- 4 Season Games:
- Championship Tournament – October 12-13 (location still TBD by OLA)

As this is a new program Lincoln Redcoats is offering this year, we will only be entering one team per age group. As a result, registration will be on a first come, first served basis for those that were registered for the 2024 box season. Registration will open on September 4th @ 9:00 EST.
If there are not enough registrations for the Redcoats to field a team in a particular age group, your registration fee will be refunded.
If there are more than 12 registrations for an age group, time stamps for completed registrations in SportzSoft will be utilized to assess which players were registered first. Anyone who registers beyond the maximum of 12 will be refunded their money.
We understand the reality of conflicts with hockey and other fall sports, but are hoping that those who sign-up will be able to prioritize making the majority of the practice/season games, and must be able to commit to making the Thanksgiving weekend championship tournament.
